          CENTER NEWS…

The Village Preschool was awarded a American Flag that was flown over the Republic of Afghanistan in a U.S. Army Reconnaissance Helicopter assigned to Banshee troop, 2nd Squadron 17th Calvary 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) on 13 February 2008.

We would like to give Special Thanks to the Preschool II class for pulling together the goody boxes that were sent to the troops every 3 Months. The children made pictures and cards that were divided among the men. We have been sent pictures of the men opening their boxes . The children were very excited to see their box being open by the men. By looking at the pictures the children were able to relate to the process.

Thank you to all the parents that have brought items to fill the boxes and helped to make flags for the troops. We have defiantly made a soldiers day and given them a smile from home!

We will be putting together A VILLAGE COOKBOOK to be on sale in time for the Holiday’s  We would like Appetizers and Beverages/Soup and Salads name a few. You may turn these into Ms. Kara or Ms. Stephanie.

As a reminder all children need to be in the center by 10.00 per your parent handbook. or you will need to call the center. This will enable us to have a accurate lunch count.

Have a safe & happy 4th

Please remember our soldiers this 4th
